Free Challenges[edit]
Dance with a fish trophy at different Named Locations[edit]
There are different fish trophies hanging on the walls of different named locations and it's your job to boogie down in front of seven of them. We've got a list here of the fish trophy locations along with a handy map:
- Fatal Fields - Above the chimney on the first floor of the house.
- Greasy Grove - Near the counter in the nature store.
- Snobby Shores - Above the couch in the bunker of the south-most house.
- Tilted Towers - On the floor of the demolished building.
- Dusty Divot - Inside a small office on the second floor.
- Retail Row - There's a giant fish trophy on the front of the store. If that one doesn't count, there's a normal one inside!
- Lonely Lodge - Inside the main and largest cabin, first floor.
- Wailing Woods - Three of them are hanging out on the second floor of the underground bunker hidden underneath the hedge maze.
- Risky Reels - In the second floor office of the building with the green screen.
- Lazy Links - Behind the counter in the gift shop.
- Junk Junction - Above the mattress on the first floor of the main building.
Visit Several Places in a single Match[edit]
A multi-stage challenge that has you visiting two different named locations in a single match. You can expect a lot of players to be traveling within the fastest route between both locations. To avoid other players, try taking a longer and less direct route. You don't have to visit them in any order, just visit both at some point during a single match! Here are the five stages you need to complete:
- Stage 1: Visit Lonely Lodge and Retail Row in a single match
- Stage 2: Visit Junk Junction and Pleasant Park in a single match
- Stage 3: Visit Fatal Fields and Flush Factory in a single match
- Stage 4: Visit Lazy Links and Haunted Hills in a single match
- Stage 5: Visit Tomato Temple and Shifty Shafts in a single match
Six Shooter or Heavy Assault Rifle Eliminations[edit]
Take out two enemies using the recently released Six Shooter and Heavy Assault Rifle. Since they are both new weapons, their spawn rates are currently slighter increased, although you'll have an easier time finding the Six Shooter as in comes in lower rarities. Both weapons put a focus on accuracy so try knocking this challenge out in Disco Domination or Food Fight where you're more likely to find a distracted enemy.
Battle Pass Challenges[edit]
Get a score of 3 on different Clay Pigeon Shooters[edit]
A repeat challenge from Season 5. Find three different clay pigeon machines and shoot down the clay pigeon that flies out after you activate the machine. Clay pigeon shooting machines have been spotted in different areas of the map. Activate the little machine and let the clay pigeon fly - shoot it out of the sky to add points to the scoreboard. A rubber duck will occasionally fly out too!
There is a total of six clay pigeon locations but you only need to visit three. Use our clay pigeon map below to find all the locations!
- Loot Lake - Along the northeastern edge of the lake.
- West of Pleasant Park near the abandoned building.
- South of Shifty Shafts and west of the town with the giant wooden chair.
- East of Lazy Links near the bridge over the river.
- All the way south of Paradise Palms near the edge of the map and the small river.
- North of Lonely Lodge, just over a small hill.
Need some help shooting down the clay pigeon? Stand next to the machine and commit to a spot. As you activate the machine for each clay pigeon, watch the trajectory of the clay pigeon each time to see exactly where it goes. Pick a spot in the air (look for something in the background to start at!) and always aim for the same spot. This way you can focus on timing instead of aim.
Picking a weapon with a high rate of fire can help better your chances. The shotgun has a wide spread so your accuracy isn't as important. And make sure to do this in Disco Domination or Food Fight, the last thing you want are enemy teams all around you!
Get Trick Points in a vehicle[edit]
Getting air while in a Shopping Cart, ATK, or Quadcrasher can earn you trick points and this neat feature is now part of a challenge that asks you to collect a total of 250,000 points. The longer you're able to stay in the air without touching the ground, the more points you'll earn. Do this by building a ramp going off a cliff or simply go to Stunt Mountain north of the soccer stadium and fly down from there.
The problem? Landing incorrectly can cost you your life. The key to landing with taking is a little damage as possible is to straighten out your ATK or Shopping Cart when you land. Try to make your vehicle as parallel as possible with the floor, the same position it would be in if you were driving. Keep in mind you cannot complete challenges in Playground mode.
Wondering where you can find an ATK? The desert biome if filled with them whether it's the race track, Paradise Palms, or near the gas station. Snobby Shores is also home to a number of vehicles as is Lazy Links. A single ATK cart can be found at Junk Junction, Flush Factory, and at the wooden fort north of Wailing Woods.
Visit different Named Locations in a single match[edit]
Head over to any of four of the 20 named locations and simply enter the area. The catch? You have to visit all four within the same match. Try to land at one of the locations on the outskirts of the map. That way you can pass through other locations as you move towards the circle. A list of all 20 named locations:
- Junk Junction
- Haunted Hills
- Pleasant Park
- Snobby Shores
- Tilted Towers
- Greasy Grove
- Shifty Shafts
- Flush Factory
- Dusty Divot
- Salty Springs
- Fatal Fields
- Wailing Woods
- Lonely Lodge
- Retail Row
- Lucky Landing
- Risky Reels
- Lazy Links
- Paradise Palms
- Tomato Temple
- Leaky Lake
Stage 1: Use Grappling Hook[edit]
Another multi-stage challenge. The first is simply use the Grappling Hook once. We'll update this list as we find the rest!
- Stage 1: Use Grappling Hook
- Stage 2: Use Launch Pad
- Stage 3: Use a Rift (Note: Naturally occurring ones don't count. Must be a Rift-to-Go. You don't need to be the one to use the item, just enter the rift.)
Comments
Finding the Snobby Shores treasure map location is the objective of one of Fortnite's many Weekly Challenges.
Completing it will give you additional XP to help go towards your many Season 5 rewards. Note you'll need to be a Battle Pass holder in order to undertake this challenge.
Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. That said, there are still plenty of other Fortnite Challenges as part of Fortnite Season 10, including Lost Spray Can locations, Fortnite Graffiti billboards, Gas Station locations and Fountain, Junkyard and a Vending Machine.
How the Snobby Shores treasure map works
For the Week 5 Challenges, you are tasked with the following:
- Follow the treasure map in Snobby Shores (1 total, 10 Battle Stars)
Another Challenge this week is Fortnite Tee to Green locations.
Snobby Shores hides a map that paves the way to a hidden treasure. Note only those with the Battle Pass will be able to see it, and on the map features a diagram of where the treasure can be found.
However, you can skip this first step and go straight to the treasure location - as explained later on this page - if you prefer to do so.
As with other challenges, you must do these as you play matches - you cannot enter the map without other players - so you'll have to avoid combat encounters as you attempt to find each location.
Need help on other Fortnite Challenges? There are Glitched Foraged Items, Lost Spray Can locations, Fortnite Graffiti billboards, Gas Station locations to find. As well as these, for a limited time, are tasks to touch a giant glowing cube, enter the Rift above Loot Lake, and search a landing pod within a meteor locations and visiting Rift Zone locations.
Snobby Shores treasure map location
Snobby Shores is located on the western coast of the map, however, you don't need to go here first to complete this treasure map location.
The location you need to go to find the treasure itself isn't far though, it's just to the north in Haunted Hills, which is also on the western coast on the border between quadrants B2 and B3.
The treasure is on top of a house in the north-eastern corner of the settlement.
It's simple enough to reach from the air - just glide down on top of the roof of the house to save yourself some trouble building a ramp, but obviously beware the numerous other players who'll likely be trying to do the same thing.
Here's the house itself - it's the one next to the larger church tower building:
The Snobby Shores treasure appears when you get close to it, on top of the highest point of that little building.
Once you are done, there are plenty of other Challenges to try this week, including Fortnite Tee to Green locations. Good luck!
